The cottage was clean and extremely well equipped. It is in an ideal quiet situation with a river running close by. There are many walks from the cottage into stunning countryside.

It was the perfect place to go to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There is very little to do in the village itself which isn't such a bad thing as it inspires you to get up and go find other places to explore. The accommodation was ideal and very well kept.

The Joiner's Cottage is a perfect place for exploring the beautiful rugged Swaledale. The children loved the environment and enjoyed their stay so much that they would like to return in the future to do more walking. Compliments to the owner of this lovely cottage in this lovely dale.

An extremely well equipped cottage - the best we've ever stayed in. A wonderful location and an excellent good sized property, even with 6 of us plus large dog. A great holiday and we will definitely be back!

The cottage was perfect, very clean with the bedrooms and bathrooms looking like they had been freshly decorated and modern. The village setting couldn't have been better and there was plenty of information on the area. I would love to visit again and maybe take some friends!

Good accommodation situated in a small village with stunning scenery. Very good for walkers as the village is on the Pennine Way.
