The cottage was clean and extremely well equipped. It is in an ideal quiet situation with a river running close by. There are many walks from the cottage into stunning countryside. Mrs A, Wrexham, Clwyd 14 September 2010
A beautiful cottage surrrounded by fabulous countryside. Walks for beginners and more experienced right on the doorstep. Mrs U, East Boldon, Tyne And Wear 31 July 2010
Thwaite is a wonderful area. Mr J, Swansea, West Glamorgan 15 July 2010
It was the perfect place to go to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There is very little to do in the village itself which isn't such a bad thing as it inspires you to get up and go find other places to explore. The accommodation was ideal and very well kept. miss S, LIVERPOOL 22 September 2009
We would certainly recommend our holiday - everything was first rate and the owner could not have been more helpful. Quick and easy to book on the internet and all confirmations were rapidly acknowledged. Mrs S, LEICESTER 07 June 2009
The setting was lovely and the cottage was great - we would go again. Miss H, Leeds, West Yorkshire 16 March 2009
Location good, cottage generally lovely and where it had been updated (bathrooms) was really well done. Miss W, London 19 September 2008
Lovely location, well equipped cottage, cosy and clean. Mr S, Benfleet 04 July 2008
The Joiner's Cottage is a perfect place for exploring the beautiful rugged Swaledale. The children loved the environment and enjoyed their stay so much that they would like to return in the future to do more walking. Compliments to the owner of this lovely cottage in this lovely dale. Mr J, The Netherlands 05 May 2008
fabulous location for walking Ms G, Cramlington 11 April 2008
An extremely well equipped cottage - the best we've ever stayed in. A wonderful location and an excellent good sized property, even with 6 of us plus large dog. A great holiday and we will definitely be back! Mrs H, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire 28 March 2008
The cottage was perfect, very clean with the bedrooms and bathrooms looking like they had been freshly decorated and modern. The village setting couldn't have been better and there was plenty of information on the area. I would love to visit again and maybe take some friends! Mrs D, Shipley, West Yorkshire 29 September 2006
Good accommodation situated in a small village with stunning scenery. Very good for walkers as the village is on the Pennine Way. Mrs H, Wirral, Merseyside 07 July 2006
